Half-Day Waldorf Garden Playgroup
Half-Day Waldorf Garden Playgroup
- Ages: About 3–6 years
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Activities: Outdoor play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and seasonal celebrations
- Ages: Infants to 6 years
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Details: Personalized care for up to two families, focusing on gentle routines and developmental milestones

📝 A Note From Rebecca
Hi, I'm Rebecca, Mom to the world's best almost-20-year-old, former Waldorf homeschooler, later unschooled, and now a student at Warren Wilson College.
I'm "retired" from my full-time role as mom, though you can see my first introduction of myself is still as "mom." It's a delightful role that lasts forever! They'll always be our babies. Alas... those babies do grow up and adult very well... which is one reason why I'm looking to nurture someone else's "babies" right now!
Plus? Ok... I'll admit it... I also miss the fairies and gnomes!
On a more professional level, I have over 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings - including leading another Waldorf early childhood group.
I have 3 graduate degrees in herbal medicine, ecopsychology, and fine art and have been a presenter at childcare conferences. I'm fully background checked (will upload papers as soon as I have the update returned to me) and first-aid and CPR certified (again, updated documentation coming soon).
I have the most magical space set up for your little ones and can't wait to welcome them into my home!

We have a sweet dog and kitty who are both great with children. We'll introduce them gently so each child can grow comfortable.
Our indoor space is warm and cozy with open-ended, natural material toys, a braided rug for circle time, and art everywhere. Our fenced backyard is newly re-seeded with organic lawn, and we’ve got a beautiful porch, garden beds, and outdoor play areas.

💚 Who We’re Best For
Families who value Waldorf principles, gentle rhythms, outdoor play, and organic snacks—but who also don’t mind a few BPA-free plastic toys in the sandbox (especially our awesome dump truck!).
Probably not a great fit if you love scented laundry detergent or strongly fragranced products—I'm very allergic!
