Here's What Previous Herbal Students Have Said:

🌱Herbal and nutritional knowledge needs to be spread. If only there were more people like you, Rebecca, who were willing to share their knowledge with others! So grateful to you for so graciously sharing with all of us here!

🌱As a mom with 3 part time jobs I just don't have the time to go back for more formal education, and I'm thankful for opportunity to be in a group like this where I can read and participate on my timeline. I also imagine you are the kind of friend who I could sit and have coffee with and pick your brain. Or call up when I'm confused and need help with my garden. You seem like a very generous person, Rebecca.

🌱We made our ... salve today with dandelions from our neglected garden, they are thriving! So exciting! If we had bees and made our own beeswax we could have made it all from our backyard! A great step in the right direction to a sustainable lifestyle!

🌱Here are some of the things I made! Chamomile tea with a little bit of honey - I liked the earthy taste of it and it helped to settle my stomach. Then this morning I finally had the opportunity to make caledula salve. I infused the calendula in ...oil. After I poured it, I let it cool and added 100% lavender essential oil. I can't wait to try it!! In a few days I'm leaving to go camping up in the Adirondacks so I'm stoked to make week 3's recipes [the insect repellent and sting remedy]

Each seasonal class consists of 4 lessons, designed to be spread out over 4 weeks.

Each separate, weekly lesson contains the same components:
1. info on the herbs you'll be using that week including uses, safety, and energetics

2. recipes to make your own remedies

3. video and PDF lessons to accommodate audio/visual and reading learning styles alike

4. nature connection prompts to deepen your awareness of your place in the natural world and...

5. something special for children, varying from a coloring page to special remedies just for them along with ways to engage them with what you're making, not to mention subject-based academic jargon if you need to do homeschool reporting.. Imagine the next generation just growing up with all of this knowledge...

My classes utilize both a science-based and connection-based model of experiential learning.

We'll honor ancient traditions and examine modern scientific research.

You'll experience the herbs and nature with all of your senses and reflect on your own place as a part of nature.

PLUS! You'll leave with all of your basic healthcare needs for that season covered!

Chickweed, Plantain Salve, & Elderberries!
